  Having spent hundreds, possibly thousands of pounds in Evelyn's over the years, I have to say I'm extremely disappointed in the level of service I have received this evening.
  
  My mother placed an order for delivery, including a special red Thai curry. Having waited around an hour (busy time of year, which is fair enough), what arrived was only a red Thai sauce. Upon calling Evelyn's for some clarification, whoever spoke to my mother on the phone was convinced that she only ordered the sauce. Despite having been heard by the rest of the family - another three adults - and having it written down on the back of a used envelope, Evelyn's was having none of it.
  
  So clearly whoever took the order misheard, and these things happen which I accept. What I do not accept is zero attempt to take some accountability that over the phone during a busy period, someone perhaps made a simple mistake. There was also no offer to correct this or suggest a way to amend the situation.
  
  Now I'm left with a red Thai curry sauce with some rice. Extremely disappointed, I resigned myself to the situation and was willing to write it off as a bad experience. The sauce turned out to be unpalatable due to the levels of salt. I'm now hungry as well as angry.
  
  £34, and a similar amount of money spent most weeks should attract better customer service quite frankly, so Evelyn's have now lost a loyal group of customers due to a simple error that could have been fixed very easily. If only.

  It says on the website they are open 24hrs so try and phone after twelve and dont even get a answer false advertise ment if you ask me its a bloody joke!!!
